The Hotel boasts an engaging blend of contemporary design, modern amenities and gracious hospitality dedicated to the perfect guest experience.We are currently recruiting for a casual/Part time Reservations Agent. To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated, organised with excellent communication and time management skills. the successful applicant will have experience using computer reservations systems and a high attention to detail. Hours are from 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and some Saturdays. DUTIES INCLUDE:Ensure that hotel reservation requests are received and processed in a timely, efficient, polite and friendly manner maximising revenue potential by exercising sales skills.Responsible for room allocation of guest bookingsAssist potential guests with their accommodation queries.Effectively organise the workflow within reservations including attending to faxes, emails, and phone calls in a timely manner, working within a 24 hour turnaround.Handle guest queries and complaints.Report guest complaints and initiate solution REQUIREMENTS:Exceptional customer service skills including strong verbal communication, phone etiquette and be able to problem solve.Experience working in a similar Guest Services role Excellent computer skillsFriendly, personable and outgoingAbility to work under pressure and remain calmAbility to communicate across different departments throughout the hotel.Must be available Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays and Saturdays.Must be available to work through school holiday periods.
