Duty Technician

Hotel Grand Chancellor Townsville has an excellent opportunity for a trade qualified Plumber to join our maintenance team as a Duty Technician..Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, your duties will include, but are not limited to:Carry out a range of building maintenance tasks, including plumbing plumbing and handyman tasksComplete daily maintenance checksUndergo continuous preventative and reactive maintenance of hotel facilities is a timely mannerUndertake any painting, plastering repairs and patching walls within the air-conditioned hotel environmentUndertake maintenance projects as and when requiredKeeping the overall Hotel appearance at peak levelEnsure compliance with regulatory procedures, requirements and standardsTo be successful in this role, the applicant must possess:trade qualified plumbing licencePrevious experience in a plumbing maintenance role is a mustPositive attitude - Be a team playerBe comfortable undertaking basic handyman tasks including painting, repair work, etcA good eye for detail ensuring rooms and public areas are presented to a high standard at all timesSkills to execute workmanship to a high standardDemonstrated experience working unsupervised and under time constraintsAbility to carry out manual handling duties and to be able to work at heights including work overhead.Flexibility to work in customer service based industry ensuring operational deadlines are met.This role is a full time salaried role, working 40-42hrs per week.Hotel Grand Chancellor provides uniforms and duty meals and a friendly work environment, we are committed to providing a safe and happy workplace.  60000 AUD Australia - QLD Townsville & Northern QLD Townsville 4810
