Front Office Manager

Situated on the highest point in Brisbane’s Central Business District, Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane is a 4.5 star hotel attracting both business and leisure guests.  With 230 guests rooms and purpose-built conference facilities, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to lead and motivate our Front Office team. Reporting directly to the Hotel Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department. This role is a hands-on and customer focused position that requires a person who can lead the team whilst upholding our high customer service standards. Front Office Manager is expected to work a flexible roster according to business demands, including covering Duty Manager shifts during periods of annual leave. Duties and Responsibilities:Effective coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departuresResponding to guest feedback in an efficient and proactive manner and implementing changes to prevent re-occurrenceEffectively communicating with all departments of the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achievedManaging customer relations to deliver truly memorable experiences for our guestsControlling costs & wagesAccurate end of month reportingProviding leadership, training and development to the front office team and fulfilling management dutiesEnsure safety, security and legislative requirements are being metThe successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:Previous Front Office management experienceAuthentic customer service, interpersonal & communication skillsA team player with a sense of camaraderie and team prideImpeccable grooming and presentationExcellent organisation and time managementPrevious extensive experience in Hotel operating systemsAvailable to work weekdays and weekends including shift workFull working rights within Australia 70000 AUD Australia - QLD Brisbane CBD & Inner Suburbs

The successful candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate the following:
