Chef de Partie and Kitchen Hand

The James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor is one of Wellington’s most well-known Hotels. Applicants must be flexible to the different hours required, be well groomed, and have a passion for cooking and take pride in their job.Please state the position you are applying for in your application.Chef de Partie – Full Time The ideal candidate will be fully qualified with a Chef’s diploma or a City and Guilds qualification in cookery and have a minimum of one years' experience as a Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie level in a large hotel or experience in high volume catering in a restaurant and/or functions department with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team. Understanding of Health and Safety and in particular of the Wellington City Council Food Plan Diary would be advantageous.Kitchen Hand - Part Time The ideal candidate will have a clean New Zealand Drivers license and the ability to drive a manual vehicle is essential.
